CHOCOLATE BREAD

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1x baking powder
  • 100 g of spelled flour
  • 100 g ground almonds
  • 110 g of powdered erythritol
  • 25 g of cocoa
  • 100 g of butter
  • 150 ml of milk
  • a pinch of salt
  • 0.5 l of milk
  • 50 g of powdered erythritol
  • 20 g corn starch
  • 20 g of cocoa powder
  • 40 g of dark chocolate
  • a bit of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of instant coffee

Preparation:

1.Mix the eggs together with the erythritol until the mixture becomes lighter in color and doubles in size. Melt the butter and let it cool. During this time, mix all the dry ingredients and slowly add them to the erythritol and egg mixture. Then goes the melted butter and milk. Mix everything well and transfer it to a baking dish. Bake at 180˚C for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry.

2.Put the milk in a saucepan and heat it until it boils (do not boil) over low heat. Meanwhile, mix erythritol, corn starch, instant coffee and cocoa. Slowly add milk to the mixture with the dry ingredients, stirring constantly with a whisk. If the cream is not thick enough, feel free to return to low heat and cook until desired thickness. In the end, add the dark chocolate that you previously melted. Pour the cream over the bread and leave to cool.
